• Design and/or checking of foundation design and analysis using provided geotechnical information for various foundation types utilized in substations
• Design and/or checking of equipment support structures of various types utilized in substations
• Design and/or checking of civil site plans specific to site grading, access road design, drainage, soil erosion and sediment control details
• Substation bus structural analysis calculations
• Design and/or checking of Oil containment designs and specification
• Assembly and/or checking of calculation packages
• Development of civil/structural design submittals
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
• Travel to client offices and job sites
• Coordinates with client and internal project management team
• Good experience in substation and geotechnical works design will be an advantage

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• At least 4 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledge of major substations, and renewable energy civil & structural scopes of design will be an advantage.
• Proficiency with Autocad & design software (Staad Pro/Tekla/Plaxis)

· Experience in PMU, PPU, and SSU Substations is added advantage

· Able to work independently

· Minimum 3 years of experience

• Diploma or Degree in Health & Safety or relevant qualifications
• Registered competent Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with the Occupational Safety & Health Department (DOSH) – valid Yellow Book
• Minimum 2 years supervising experience to ESH in Construction
• Experience in Traffic Management Plan and able to provide advice to site management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to accept contract employment (Yearly renewable basis)
• Experience in scaffolding inspection would be an added advantage
• Handling / management of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 would be an added advantage

·        Good knowledge & Proficient in Autocad, Microsoft Word, Excell and PowerPoint

·        Able to work independently

·        Minimum 3 years experience in consultant office as an electrical design engineer.
